A Disciple’s Quest

A Landscape for Single Adults

“A Disciples Quest”, offers a unique perspective for single adults.

Someone Who Understands

Jed understands the single adult lifestyle and all the challenges of flying solo. He was one! Jed understands what it feels like to be in a group, where no one understands where you’re coming from. It took sometime to realize that he was at the opposite end of the spectrum from everybody else, but that he was still O.K. He became a single divorced father of two at age 37. He experienced the loneliness, temptation, doubt and fear that are a reality for many adult singles. He knows what it feels like when people say things like: “What’s a great guy like you doing single.” “God has just the right partner for you somewhere”.

However late you think you are, however many chances you think you have missed, however many mistakes you feel you have made or talents you think you don’t have, or however far from home and family and God you feel you have traveled, I testify that you have not traveled beyond the reach of divine love. It is not possible for you to sink lower than the infinite light of Christ’s atonement.

~ Jeffery R. Holland

What to Expect

It was during Jed’s single time, that he began his quest to know Jesus Christ, to follow Him, and ultimately strive to become like Him. He doesn’t see “singles” as a “program”, but as individuals of “great worth”.

“A Disciples Quest” offers an evening of entertainment. Participants will want to sing along on the Rockn’ Roll music set, and then enjoy the message of Jed’s original music. He strives to create a feeling of hope for the future and a better tommorow. He testifies that following Jesus Christ and striving to become like Him is the answer through the atonement to all of life’s unfairness, disappointments and challenges.

Age and Audience

An evening of entertainment focused on uplifting single individuals ages 18 and up. Whether widowed, divorced, or never married, this program will provide attendants an opportunity to mix, mingle, and feel the spirit.

Preparing for the Fireside

Jed encourages those who host the fireside to plan and serve a “light dinner”. While not a requirement, the dinner will provide an atmosphere to socialize and minister one to another in preparation for the fireside.
